WOW

even knowing the technology, *I* am impressed

3D resin printed tyco sharknose airhorns

I need to send these to RP model railroads to verify fit, then I'll release contact info for ordering

or I might have RP model railroads deal with it, since getting 20 costs the same as getting 2, and he can deal with managing inventory, I just wanna maintain the digital file

this last one I took thru a magnifying lense with my camera

Those look awesome! And I'm glad to be a part of history.

As far as managing inventory, I'd be willing to send out some to fellow members who request them, as I'll be receiving a bulk lot for testing.

Received the 3D printed Shark horns yesterday and tried them out. They are almost identical to the original Tyco Shark horns, as seen below (left is original, right is 3D printed.)

The 3D printed horns fit perfectly into a Tyco Shark shell, without the need of drilling larger holes and/or glue.

Obviously, these would require paint (either black or flat silver) to match the original horns as closely as possible, but the quality and size of these 3D printed Shark horns is spot-on!

Wow, that is amazing. This technology is so beyond what
I ever imagine could be done.
