I would surmise the yellow and red war bonnet scheme is the most
popular, and reproduced paint scheme in model railroading ever.

The most popular color for an automobile is white. Mine is gray.
The color of asphalt, I realized too late, and always drive with
my parking lights on to not be so invisible.
