P&L tourist train in Armodilloville. This set I bought for $40 complete, with two extra cars, from
Tinplate Henry. A year later, I found an additional boxcar in P&L colors at a junk shop in El Paso.
Got a nice boxcab shell, too, for this custom line, and am trying to find a suitable box cab chassis.
Those Roundhouse ones are getting harder to find.

Nice Chops!
My SOTW offering is this "set" of 2 Southern Pacific all-door box cars. I would love to get my hands on as many all-door box cars as I can, someday, and make a string.

That is funny- Walt's mad obsession to corner the HO streetlight
market, and now you with all door box cars! At least Micro is
understandable, he just wants everything. For a while I had
to have every Jello car I could lay my grubby hands on. I still
have about 35 NH box cars, 98% of them Tyco. The autoracks
were really getting out of hand, too.

I kind of accidentally won those two recent packs of Tyco Fluorescent lights as I only bid $10 and there was no other bidders! I have 86 of those light poles on my layout and probaly that many more as spares! I have these in case of burn outs or a slot car slamming into one. I have a serge protector set at 13.7 volts that will blow a fuse at that setting.

I am glad that I am not one that wants to buy everything from all makers. In 1999 I drew a plan on paper and I stuck to it. I bought mostly Tyco stuff and the very things I had as a kid. Then I bought the things I wish I could afford as a kid! I am now very satisfied with what I have. Of course, I had to buy a few of Chops cars that he sold.. It's possible I will by a couple more, but they will be TYco or another Item I had in the 70s. I'm sticking to my 20 year old plan...
