Hello all,
New to tis forum and just wondering if there are any Speedways collectors here. I know the cars weren't the fastest but they did look pretty cool.

Hey, Brian! I have a combination of Tyco speedways and trains. I have a few cars but the are the present cars made by Auto World. I am maybe the only one that uses the old style Tcco Speedways track.

Hey, Jeff.. Tyco speedways is Tyco's older series of track I believe I'm right saying back from 1976 or 77. The track I use is refered to as Tyco speedways, that has to tab that lock the track pieces together. Not many use this track because the small tabs would break off causing connection issues! The newer series track seems to be what people like or the old Model Motiring track. Tyco had the smaller cars known as Thunder Jets. They are some really neat bodies but wasn't real fast and handled badly from the tiny tires they had. https://www.ebay.com/itm/AURORA-TJET-Vintage-RARE-HO-1371-FORD-MUSTANG-CONVERTIBLE-TAN-W-CHASSIS-TYCO/164409935534?hash=item26479886ae:g:fYEAAOSw0ltfdJmn https://www.ebay.com/itm/Aurora-T-JET-Vintage-HO-1366-FORD-HOT-ROD-DUECE-COUPE-YELLOW-CHASSIS-TYCO-VIBE/154101647446?hash=item23e12c8856:g:IfsAAOSw1GJfbLCn https://www.ebay.com/itm/DASH-MOTORSPORTS-NICE-HO-FORD-FALCON-RED-BLACK-TOP-RUNNING-CHASSIS-TJET-TYCO/154101443887?hash=item23e1296d2f:g:w1wAAOSwGEZfVqxn Note bhttps://www.ebay.com/itm/Tyco-Ho-Slot-Car-Adaptor-Track-Sections-Tyco-To-Tyco-Pro/373213463328?hash=item56e5418320:g:g7AAAOSwASRfYVqPoth ends of these track adapters from old style to the newer.

Thanks for updating me, Walt. I recall running these once with a bud back in the ‘70’s, had ourselves a little race, and remember thinking how good these would be to run with HO trains precisely because they were slow and featured regular vehicles. I wasn’t sure who made them, or I might have gone that direction instead of Highway 1, which was fun, but too fast for my taste.
So, the image refers to an Aurora body, Tyco chassis. Is that a custom blend?
This gets complicated quick: Aurora + Sears + Tyco. . . Think I’ll stick to the bus! https://www.ebay.com/itm/AURORA-MM-SEARS-1981-T-JET-2-LANE-HO-Slot-Car-Race-Track-Set-2-Cars-Box-TYCO/154020528505?hash=item23dc56c179:g:WnMAAOSwlFRfHG2M

Not really sure how the Aroura went and the Tyco came. I remember having some of the Aroura cars when I was quite young. This was a favorite as a boy. I had a yelow or cream colored one. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-HO-Slot-Car-Aurora-T-Jet-500-Dune-Buggy-Coupe-Solid-Rivet-Chassis-Tested/274513024533?hash=item3fea405615:g:Bx8AAOSw2SVfcm3g Also had this one... Love this piece.
