Check out what I just popped on. This thing looks pristine!
There's one other example I've seen in photos. http://www.tycoforums.com/tyco/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=7544. It's the real deal unit, I'm positive. 1953-1955. I can imagine you could count on one hand the number of these in this condition on one hand. I'm speechless. This will be the crown jewel of my collection. Better than a factory prototype...

Here is a few better pictures. It doesn't have horns, but it also doesn't look it EVER had them. I'm amazed the box is still with it.

Nope, those diecast Sharks didn't have horns.
And that is the earliest known paint scheme on a Mantua/Tyco diecast Shark too, and it is in amazing condition!! Congrats!
