My photos from a quite different looking layout.




Master bedroom carpet layout which somewhat depicts scenes from Lancaster Pennsylvania to Montauk New York.



Obviously stretching the imagination way too much.



But these are our fantasy little worlds.



Can be changed as many times as I want with minimum trouble.



Nothing nailed or pasted. Very minimum scenery but easy to maintain and clean.

Nice wks! Love how the layout uses both HO (inner loop) and O guage (outer loop) And sometimes, simpler is better.

Thanks Robert. I prefer the simple approach. I am not young anymore so simple solutions are my preference.









I copied your layout set up since it looks great. Some changes but the idea is similar.
Work in progress but will run trains one day.

During 2016 I had it resemble the Tyco Expander Layout.























With 99 cents sheets and a little paint it came out nice.

During 2017 I had my O scale carpet layout in my basement.































O scale set up is now in my master bedroom. Still have the small Christmas set up in my basement.

stock he has seen, and he too favors a floor layout to watch them run.

I prefer simple set up track configurations Jeff.
This way I can put them away when I tire of the look.









Just like this setup back in 2016. May look nice in photos.
After awhile it just looks too crowded on my floor so I remove it.
Guess I am not the dedicated model Railroader that is expected of me.
