Took out the entire Strap Hanger inner layout today, pulled it all apart and reassembled
it with new rail joiners. Now it works great.

My SOTW offering is a A-B "set" of Tyco Burlington Route F9's.

Love the trollies. Are they serving hot dogs on board? I know Coney island is famous for their hot dogs! The Burlington units are a shameless pair. That is a passenger locomotive, however. Perhaps you need to track down the passenger cars busss mentioned..

That's a sweet looking pair of Burlington engines. I picked up a set of the cars several years back, but have yet to acquire a B-unit. My A is also a little more beat-up that your example. The A was missing several ladders and ended up being a repair experiment with metal wire and bondo. It worked out so-so. A modern fix would be to just 3D print new ladders and glue them on.

I have one of the later ones made in the Tyco Brown Box era. You just can't kill 'em, it seems. They actually seemed to improve their running performance as they've aged since getting them about 10 years ago.If you guys have been here long enough, you probably remember my posts about my problems with that guy.I can assure you, she's in a much better place now as far as reliability is concerned.

Yes, finding those Tyco Burlington streamlined coaches is on the agenda, Alex.

Nice set, DaCheez! That is Burlington F9 Passenger Service at its best.
