My LOTW will be the Amtrak F7 I purchased to go with my life-like passenger coach set. I was pretty happy when I saw it was the version without the front steps. Per the usual the MU-2 motor runs like clockwork. This old plugger looks fantastic with my Amtrak Coaches.

Love that "no-steps" version of the Amtrak F9! Still looking for one of those Amtrak F9s.....
Recently got this dummy Union Pacific RR F9, the "no steps" version, to go along with my powered UP F9 I already had.
Well, it came with another powered "no-steps" UP F9, and even though I already had the powered one, I couldn't resist a good price on a set of both powered and dummy.

Interesting variants, had not noticed the differences before. I've been toiling away at the computer, trying to learn how to do things on Windows 10. Not entirely where I need to be, but could be worse.
My offering comes from the Blaxland Shops, where it was soon to be turned into a stationary heater. She will fly back in time to the Harte's Mill Micro Layout whenever, if ever, the museum opens up and lets me abscond with it. Tuesday??

Not yet, between Henley and fighting with the computer... I suspect a little wheel cleaning will perk her right up.

I see. I'm anxious to hear the news "She runs fine!" So that I can stop worrying myself that I sold you a loco that can't be fixed.

If I remember correctly, I bought the insurance, Square Deal, so fear not. I have to work tonight, for the rest of week, so progress will be again delayed. Probably get up to Riodoso next weekend, temps here approaching 110F.

I might make a larger Old West layout that can incorporate two train operation, if I can make it small enough. Making things too big can become a daunting task of maintenance. I feel swallowed up sometimes by Armodilloville, and think maybe RP did it right with the EPVRR.
Maintaining Armodilloville is becoming really, really hard sometimes. I fix one thing and three others pop up.
RP, on the other hand, makes his micro layouts of Alpine Valley and EVRR look enormous with his photo angles, and that, perhaps, is half the fun, videotaping and putting it up on this virtual train show of the TF. I am really tempted to downsize Armodilloville. Really.
Your videos, shot on carpet, had a special sort of genius. You really made that work. How is your table top layout going, and what, pray tell is a pilot wheel cover???
