Found this gem for 6 bucks at the train store, and thought it was interesting in that it had "Radio Equipped" printed towards the rear of the caboose on both sides. I know some cupola cabooses Tyco made, such as the Rio Grande one, had "Radio Equipped" on them, but never saw an ATSF cupola caboose like this. Upon opening the box, I noticed that the base was diecast (not surprising for circa early "Red Box Era,") but I found a hole in the base, as if this could have been lighted at some time. However, both sets of trucks do not feature pick-ups, so I'm logically assuming that this caboose is the "non-lighted version" that shared the same base as the lighted cupola caboose versions from the same Tyco era.
Either way, glad to have it in the collection. Check it out!
