Here's the Tyco yellow BN box car. Not real common as the green one is. I like this piece for whatever reason... Pictured in a seldom seen area on my table, in photos... This photo is along the edge where I just added the 20 feet. With this 20 foot rail, I have a total of 60 feet of straight side track. That is room for 90 of the 8 inch hoppers, box cars etc.

I saw a photo of this piece back in 1975, and I've wanted one ever since. It's an AHM Lincoln
Funeral Car, and I've long been interested in Lincoln. The prototype was an armored car, for
Lincoln's use, and was pressed into service as his funeral coach to remove his remains from
Washington, D.C. to his burial in Springfield, Illinois. It gave a grieving nation the opportunity
to pay their last respects.

A few years back, a replica of the Lincoln funeral car was built in Elgin, IL at the Kloke Locomotive Works. I got to tour it when it was being built. Later, I toured the finished product at the Depot Museum in Duluth, MN. I'm not just sure where the thing is, now. It was a pretty fancy car, typical of the 19th century ornate style.

Anyway, that's a nice model, Chops.

Another classic beauty from the dawn of HO, Frank. Thanks
for posting. Back scene is looking more interesting all the time.
