It's been a bit slow on the old TF last couple of months. If you got a little time to spare (yeah, right) why not pop onto the Member's List Directory in the the PM inbox section, scroll down, and click on the next name. I left off with "AF Kid." Click on the "email member" link (NOT the PM User) and send them this:
Great news!! The Tyco Forum is back on line, it was down for a bit while server issues got fixed and upgraded. Come join the party and post your cool trains!!
Like I said, I last emailed AF Kid, and only have like a thousand names to go, so any help you can give the TF community would be AWESOME.
I have a pretty heavy schedule, but will periodically update this thread as to whom I last emailed. Please jump in and LET'S GET THIS PARTY STARTED!!
My humble opinion: the Tyco Forum is both a joy and a privilege. It was the first, and remains the best.
Again, don't PM the member, because they won't be checking their PM inbox anytime soon. EMAIL the member through the link attached to their profile. A very few members have not posted their email address, if so, just skip over them and onto the next.

It also occurs to me, that it is conceivable, but hopefully not likely, one could get a negative reply. I would strongly advise, if that were to happen, ignore it, forget about it, go to the next one. Life is too short.

Got as far as Ajost, today. Time for bed, it's getting late. 830 AM here. I work nights, so daytime is my night time. Not so bad once you get used to it.

Up to DanSayers.
From what I can see, the Tyco Forum is slowly picking up steam, more and more posts, new people showing up.

This great place is always alive with photos and videos from our members. Should pick up even more in the autumn and winter months.

Rail trail passing through.

Dang, looks like you can set your watch back to 1953, there. Real nice. Too bad the trains are all gone, but so it goes.

Nice pictures Frank. I will try to visit the High Bridge area next week or so to check out the area. Califon is a long walk but reachable. Looks scenic and quaint along the route. The branch started to be slowly abandoned in 1976 and tracks ripped in 1983 Ben. Most of the former branch is a bike and hike trail. Some trackage in its northern reaches.

I got up to "e.f.", then the server seemed to bog down. Now, ugh, got to go in to twelve hours to cover somebody else on the grave yard shift. Party's over. Seeing some new, some new old faces, and they are bringing great things to the table.

I recieved an email from RP Model Railroads today. He was recently promotoed to General Manager at a Dunkin shop in his hometown in Pennyslvania. He asked me to pass the word along that his duties will absorb most of his time, and so he is taking a back seat to model railroading for the indefinite future as he launches his career bid. He asked me to pass that along to the rest of us.
I did try to outreach to prior members, after the long hiatus, but it only seemed to bring in one or two former members, and the rest are osmosing back in without my help, so I am abandoning the process to email every past member.
We will see how it goes from here, I've seen things go up and down, and not much too predict it. Myself, I've been posting a lot of archive stuff because I have had neither time or energy to do much in the garage this winter. I am ready for summer. I promise not to complain about the impending roasted-in-sutu nuclear hot Hell bake anymore, no matter how many birds drop dead out of the trees.

It could be worse. My cousin moved from El Paso to Nashville and his son complained about the Nashville heat. I expect the real problem was the humidity, rather than the temperature, as such.
