Hello again everybody. I'm trying to get my 1952-type Mantua Goat spruced up, again. Hopefully, some help could be had here. The Parts I need, are as follows:
- A Headlight
- 1 Air Tank
- Whistle
- Handrailing Hangers and Handrail wires
- front dummy coupler bushings/screws
- Two Mantua Automatic Couplers /w bushings and screws (in case I decide to swap them out (I have a lot of Automatic Coupler equipped cars)
Thank you to everybody who reads this. God's Speed, and have a good Sunday.

Well, the first place I go to when I need parts is eBay. If your lucky you may find original Mantua parts for your model.
Another option is to substitute similar super detail parts made by other detail parts manufactures.
Cal Scale for example makes a wide variety of super detail parts for steam locomotive models. Look for their products on eBay or check out an on-line retailer of model railroad supplies. One company to check out is Walthers, they offer not only Cal Scale parts but also products from other manufactures....

Good Luck, let us know how your project goes!

Wow, that is quite the restoration project- beautiful diamond stack and all, I've never seen the likes of this Mantua before. Far beyond my pay grade, but best of luck! How does it run?? That Camelback is the goat, herein? Wow, 1952, that's a piece of the Ark.

I think the Pennsylvania Saddle Tanker is an Aristocraft model. Incidentally Aristocraft's HO locomotives were recently featured in an article in HO Collector Magazine.

That is because you are looking at a Aristo-Craft 0-6-0t, also when the 0-4-0 camelback was first made and for quite a while there were no air tanks on top of the fire box. So you can model yours as a original as built Philadelphia and Reading A class switcher. frank

I always enjoy seeing these early HO pieces; I know so little about them.
