Always amazes me that Tyco did a little bit of just about everything...
I about had to sell a kidney to get this NOS vintage piece, but I
really enjoy it, and it is the center piece of the Armadilloville layout.





The straight bits were impossible to find on eBay, so I took a pair of 9 inch straights
and grafted on some Balsa wood and filed out the flangeways to fit. Not perfect, but
did the trick.

And later on, used a better quality MRC power pack with much
improved speed control. The passengers have all commented
they feel much better without the whiplash:
