Many operating accessories on their numerous layouts. Ski lifts, planes lifting, planes landing, figures moving, etc. Even the Loch Ness monster makes an appearance at times.

Yes Ben. The original Pennsylvania Station in New York City was demolished to make room for Madison Square Garden . City regretted that mistake for many years. They are renovating the post office building next door to become the new Pennsylvania Station.
Meanwhile more photos from my visit to Gulliver Gate display.
Will try to upload videos to YouTube tomorrow.

Yes Jeff they use water in some of their layouts. That was the Panama Canal scene in the video.
Later I will post links to my YouTube channel with videos.

Unfortunately it had closed due to high expenses operating in New York City. This happened before the pandemic back in January 2020. May reopen one day though. Probably elsewhere.

I read they are rebuilding in Staten Island New York. Schedule to open later this year. Probably before Christmas.

The video says this summer but when I called the person said at least by autumn. Location at a small mall near the train station in Saint George. And next to the Staten Island Ferry.

Nice views at the mall.
Looking at New York Bay and the Staten Island Railway and the Verrazano Bridge make for a good time. And with the new Gulliver's Gate opening later this year or next definitely makes this a worthwhile trip.

Went back yesterday to check out the site and get more information.
Subway to South Ferry to get on the boat. Number one subway line.
While waiting for the ferry boat there are nice views to see.
On the free boat to Staten Island you get nice views of Miss Liberty.
At the Staten Island ferry terminal you walk next door to the mall.
Plenty of stores to check out.
Walk thru this corridor to the Gulliver's Gate workshop.
They will provide tours possibly by September. The former exhibit is stored in a lower deck basement.
On the third level the exhibit will be in one of the rooms with a view of the harbor and New York City.
Outside the mall we have another nice view. Pleasant park to walk through.

Next to the mall you can go to a baseball game.
Independent league not affiliated with major league baseball but still supported by them.
A pleasant little stadium to watch a game.
Nice views of the harbor and New York City from the grandstand.
Stadium built on the site of the old Baltimore and Ohio rail yard.
Yard and old trains are long gone but at least the area has a new purpose and enjoyment to see.
Short walk away you can view the Staten Island Railway as it runs by.
You can take the train to see the nice stations and neighborhoods along its route.
One of the neighborhoods I enjoy visiting over the decades I have traveled to this borough.
Part of New York City but different in some ways.
When the model train exhibit opens consider checking out other options in Staten Island. I am sure you will enjoy them.
Next year your itinerary can go by this.
1) Take subway from Penn Station to lower Manhattan. 2) Ferry boat to Staten Island. 3) Check out the stores at the mall there. 4) Of course check out the model railroad exhibit. 5) Ride and railfan the Staten Island Railway. 6) See a baseball game when the team is home. 7) And return to Manhattan by ferry and boat.
Something to consider for next year. Even this year around Christmas. Except without the baseball game.
As long as the train exhibit is open. Hopefully.

When there was no mall nor ballpark in St George back in the day. Nice internet photos.
Next time you visit St George visualize the former freight activities that occurred there. Hopefully Gulliver's Gate exhibit will be open before Christmas.

I went back to the mall where the attraction is to be set up. Still not ready yet although the employee at their workshop predicts it will open around Christmas. I believe that they will rename this Miniature World.
Some videos on their YouTube channel. Afterwards I walked to the location where Queen Elizabeth II left the train back in 1957. It definitely looks different than the photo posted on another thread after her death. Did not take a photo since the sun was in the way. But I believe that I walked right by the area she was in back in 1957.
