Hello All, I just ran across a Tyco gondola with a container load. I’m about 99% sure the containers are not Tyco. They are labeled for the NYC and say LCL Corporation on them. They are white with black letterig. Can anyone identify these? Thanks

I'm definitely not as knowledgeable as others on the TF, but they definitely do not sound like Tyco's at all.

Could you please attach pics?

Thanks, Ill check it out. I’m now thinking it could possibly be the Athearn load that came with their early Erie gondolas—although only 5 of the 6 fit into the Tyco. Of course, Athearn made some of the Lionel HO, so......

Whether or not they came with a Lionel packaged car, any containers marked "LCL Corporation" are Athearn's refrigerator containers. Most of these came in Erie gondolas although other roadnames may have been available with these or the cement canisters... I'm too lazy to check my standard guide but if anyone really wants me to I will.
