While I'm on the subject of paleontology, I am fascinated by the simple fact that dinosaurs never went extinct. Some morphed into birds, some stayed exactly the same- particularly true of alligators and some sharks. Why? A great mystery. Also, I enjoy finding objects that can be used in 1/87th scale. Here is a cheese label my sister in Florida sent me, now a billboard.

I hit the Bunker HIll train show in West Virginia this past Saturday, found some neat items, this Light-up was a buck on the white elephant table. Not bad!

This is a nifty idea! I never thought of using everyday items to create a billboard. I haven't built a layout yet and plan to incorporate many of the ideas I've learned on this forum.

Looks like those little people are painted pretty nicely as well.

They really are. Surprised me when they arrived. Put them on small acrylic squares to make them stand up. These will go to my station and storefront.

Those clear plastic squares are a neat idea. I hadn't noticed them until you mentioned it. I'm sure I would have, but seems easy enough to paint to match or sprinkle some texture on, easy to conceal.
