I do not have too many sets to speak of, and what I have, I know I have shared in the past... With that said... Here is my SOTW offering, it a re-visit of the rare Athearn 1962 International Minerals and Chemical - Athearn's First Promotional Set:
These two sets are not perfect and both need some minor restoration. I have a third set in much worse condition and need a lot more repair.

Sort of a set, I guess. Lima, Roco, Mehano and Mantua. Given to me for parts. Right, that'll happen.

Fairly certain just the one. The guy did start out with Letraset, as you can see on the Mantua. He ran out pretty quick. I believe there's a set of passenger cars somewhere at the LHS.

Old school. Love it.
A while back, I was trying to model N de M and a few other Mexican roads, and there was just NOTHING out there except a few rare fragile scraps of decal, unless you wanted to pay up to have some guy do something on his printer.
MR, from some decades ago, had an article about having a rubber stamp made up and using paint and stamping your rolling stock, which I tried. Got kind of a smudgey National de Mexico out of it. An "insta-label" would be something I would have tried, had I thunk of it.
Oh, and Micro, I seen that loco in Golden, CO at the railway museum. It is one awe inspiring mountain of steel. They tell me it was routinely used on 100 MPH Denver to Chicago runs.
Ironically, after I divested out of N de M, and went PC, the Mexican economy went gang busters with NAFTA (and our's went to Hell), creating a strong interest in model railroading in the newly created middle class south of the border, and Athearn does all kinds of Mexican stuff, including the rare Centipedes, and even one or two of the back shop jobs, and the Micro Scale now makes a profusion of Mexican road names and types.
