These, in my humble opinion are the top 3 hardest cabooses to get:

I'm getting some serious envy vibes off of this thread. GG-1, that's quite the collection. Currently I am looking for the Canadiana and Durango caboose. How rare is the Canadiana caboose? Also, what other rare/interesting Tyco pieces do you have in your collection?

They're easier to find up here in the Great White North for sure. I'll keep an eye out.

The Durango is easier as opposed to the Western Pacific and the D & H (got the D-H by the way)
I have the Durango work caboose(Restoration) if anyone is interested

Only one of those I "had" was the Durango, and I bought that one for Microbuss a few years ago from a club member, and sent it to him. I haven't run across the other two yet, that I recall. Will be on my Hot list for sure.

In my newfound quest to collect all the brown box cabooses, I came across these two from Down Under. Queensland Railways and NSW Government Railways. There's a 40 foot VR caboose, but I'm not worried about that one. The QR Alco would be nice to get, but the Caboose is a gem.
QR
NSWGR
We can add those to the list!

I have the Durango caboose as well as the QR Queensland Rail one - although it is slightly damaged but still working. Durango is in near perfect condition but not boxed. I'm in Australia. Anyone interested in buying ? I've got lots of other stuff too. Cheers

Thirsty, I would possibly buy the Durango from you. I'm not sure why I like or need this one but have always kind of wanted it...

well the common one for any Durango set is the Floodlight Car & that streamlined caboose is a rare one cause it might of been a filler for the Durango set later on
hope to make about $500 or win it So I can go to the next train show & find the 4 I needs but I'd look for the streamlined Durango caboose anyway

I bought this one for three dollars yesterday at Willis Hobbies near Mineola New York.
Different than the usual one. Either custom painted or a variant of the common caboose.

I never see the Australian stuff come up for sale. First time I see a NSW or QR caboose, ever.

Definitely looks like someone painted it red with black trimming on top. Nice results.
A few minor paint errors but not immediately noticeable from afar
