I got a Marx 4-6-4 that's troublesome. Seems the pilot truck has a mind of it's own. The spring is almost nothing and it's riveted on. I kept cutting a coil out at a time. Seemed to make no difference. Kept de-railing. My new idea is to weigh it down some. What's y'alls opinion? It's a nice runner and very clean. Just stubborn on the track.

Justin I have never had that problem with a Marx Hudson. I have 6 now. I know the flange on some do not come to a point but have blunt edges. Maybe you just want to replace wheels and axels. frank

Sadly a goner. Rather not say more.
