I have been into model railroading for a long time. Id buy and sell on ebay ( no longer) but id keep a few things and sell the rest. Over the years i accumulated alot of track, buildings, scenery, and even some good rolling stock. So over the past few weeks i decided to put together my lil 100 layout, because thats what i figured i actually have in it.
I have some larger rolling stock like Kato AC4400CWs which i had to adjust my curves as they were a bit tight, but now work wonderfully. The layout is 3 and half feet wide by 7 ft long. It took me 2 weeks to get to the point of these pictures. Doesnt look half bad, but theres always more to do
Anyway i thought i would post this and hope you enjoy my 2 week, 100 layout...I know i am ...

Thank you...I enjoy doing scenery,,,i truly do. My biggest problem is the width of the board. Not thinking i had to use a combination of 15...18..and 22 in radius curves so the Katos wouldnt fall off the tracks....But i do Love trains....Thank you again.

Cool Layout. For the time invested it is very well done. Regards, John There is a real magic in enthusiasm. It spells the difference between mediocrity and accomplishment. <> Norman Vincent Peale

That's really impressive for two weeks of work! Quick construction seems like a good way to go though. My layouts always take so damn long to build that I start to get bored of them before they're done. Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing what you do next!

You must have a lot of free time and creativity to make that in just two weeks.Looks incredible!

Honestly, I've never heard of HyVee until you mentioned them.

They made a few train sets and cars packs. Heres one i found off ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-OLD-STORE-STOCK-HYVEE-TRI-PACK-OF-BILLBOARD-HOPPER-CARS-Jell-O-Kool-Aid-/301363038488?pt=Model_RR_Trains&hash=item462aa30918
The one i have on my post, the 3 pack i got for a steal...10.00. Brand new and unopened. There heavy, well weighted, hook horn couplers, brake wheels. There really nice. I enjoy the billboard cars,,,so does my granddaughter. Have to keep her an arms length from the table when there running
