Will Lionel's rectifier body fit a Athearn gear drive Geep? It has the Lionel GP style Hi-F and the trucks are rotted. Rather just have another more modern and geared chassis than a band drive engine.

When the Lionel Virginian Rectifier came out in 1958, it was mounted on an Athearn Hi-F GP-9 frame. So, it should fit on an Athearn's gear drive frame.
