I am using a poker chip case to store my mint chrome TYCO shell tankers-see pictures below. It is felt lined. I found 5 of these in a dumpster brand new. The guy use to throw them out after he purchased them just for chips to put in custom cases. One guy told me he filled the dumpster to the top one day(wish i would have been there) of brand new cases. They also make great gun storage.

My thoughts are that they need to fix their website, none of the links work. What type of boxes are they?

Hey Todd:

The boxes are a heavy duty corrugate board with a moisture barrier then trays which hold several cars/locomotived drop in and finally the carton lid goes on. Don't know whats going on with their site.

I've started using new/clean PizzHut Boxes. Large for rolling stock which hold 12-16 cars and usually small for 4 locomotives each. I put in bubble wrap (small) to act as buffers. The boxes are really strong. I have 4 all metal locomotives in one a small awhen closed I can hold it by the corner without any overt flexion. The boxes are about 35cents each.
BTW: this refers to items not in their own original boxes

Cheers,
Gareth

Updating this thread for people to look at.
A great tip for some on this forum to store their collections.
