While this seems to be a [SIG] Special Interest Group, I believe Yahoo has some issues and reservations to that invention.
Getting emailed reply alerts or PM notices is a whole other ballpark.
Other sites, such as dating or ebay have licenses on account of response traffic.
Plus, an email alert would or may keep one for actually visiting this site and the statistics would not be taken into account or moderated. Thereby auditing views of members or guests could not be dependable.
While some get two emails a day, other's get hundreds. We come to this forum to be apart from other threads of other origins.
Or, is this just mumble jumbo?

I get ya:) I am a CIT major in school so I understand where your coming from! i just was wondering as to help me keep track of when people are replying to my threads so I don't lose them!
