Saw one of these recently, appeared to be factory lettered Santa Fe rather than the New York Central that every other one I've seen was marked.

Anybody know if that would be legit, an oddball, just what?

Marx made and sold a lot of Santa-Fe hudsons. Now the Marx Santa-Fe passenger set would be harder to find. If new in a unopened box that would be different.

Well, after I saw it I got looking and every Hudson I looked at was marked New York Central.

Well, it's here, in pieces. I found one value guide which put a small premium on these, they're rarer than the NYC version apparently. Now to try to salvage it.
