I was wondering if y'all had any suggestions of what I could use for traction tires for a 31031 0-6-0?RFG co's are too expensive! It'd be $14 after S&H.

Goodies scrunchies assortment from Target or Walmart may have a "band" that may fit. You could go to the hardware store and look at O rings. There is a product called Frog ****, you get it, that is a liquid you paint on, never used it. Ray M would cut them from surgical tubing, maybe you could find a similar tubing. Good Tire Hunting!

I was wondering how well that liquid rubber stuff for tool handles and such would work? Just paint a little bit on and away you go it would seem. But I have not tried it so I may be wrong. Has anyone else tried this method?
