My AOTW is this bulk commodity unloading facility. The building is an old hut, probably Revelle, but I'm not sure. The conveyor is homemade from pop can aluminum, wood and paper. The truck is an old Roco Minitanks Chevy army truck in civilian paint. My layout era is post-WWII, so my HO people are taking advantage of war-surplus bargains.

If you're loading bulk commodities into trucks, you need a scale to know how much you loaded. This scale is homemade in the image of a truck scale I found in a quarry.

Nice vignette! Simple but effective.

Is that a “train set quality” Life-Like hopper? Because it looks really good.

Thanks. I think the hopper is Life-Like. I made some changes to wheels and couplers and added some weathering. The weathering is probably the biggest thing a person can do to make a toy market train look less toy-like.
