Fabulous kit, there Alex, and great to see you back. It would appear you are advancing your skills
to new levels. I would not have the nerve to tackle that quite, the ore motor, as it is pretty close
to scratch building, when all things are considered. The cast parts, in my experience, are
approximations of what you are doing, and require great skill and perseverance to get it
right; the first time.

One might note that it was a great bump, lots of interesting projects from a more active time,
but that thread dates to 2014, which is what, eight years ago? So, that being said, most of
my time is devoted to firing up Henley. Got a couple new vids on my thread, if anyone wants
a splitting headache. I did try to inject some humor and good background music. Spoonful
of sugar and all that.

So, without further blather, here is an older photo of a "Janus" sort of locomotive recently
introduced by RP Model Railroads and his trusty side kick, Anderson Paint Shops, otherwise
known as A-A-Ron.

That’s a nice hooker you got, Chops.Seriously, though, definitely a unique loco.

That looks like two hustlers on an Athearn switcher chassis.

Two hustlers, or two Roundhouse Box Cabs? I didn't show the interior, but I could not find a seam! Definitely an Athearn chassis. Didn't have a lot of room for it, so sold it on eBay with seven matching cars, and a matching caboose, for some absurdly low figure. It was fun, and I enjoyed it, but wanted to sharpen my focus towards British rail.

Speaking of Janus locomotives and British railroads, when I googled Janus locomotive, it pulled up a British center cab that looked remarkably like something that would have run here in the USA. Fascinating.....
