Station structure by Goldrush Structures, looks to be 3D printed. Listed as HO scale, but it
seems small next to these HO coaches. It looks closer to N. Any ideas??? The top of the clock
tower is nine inches, which translates into 63 scale feet. This doesn't seem right, it seems better
for N?

I'm thinking that measuring the doors would tell the tale about scale.
It can be difficult to tell what you least expect the most.

Welcome to the world on N scale Chops!

Sell all your HO and "downsize" to N. All those cool N-Trak guys can't be wrong!

Yeah, the doors scale out to about 7 feet, just enough to whack your HO head upon. This is N scale. Nice N scale, but N scale. The manufacturer vendor is pushing it as HO. He apparently doesn't have a clue. I'm going to send it back. It just doesn't fit well in this tiny size. Nice detail, but too tiny for Henley.

Send it back. Even as a compressed model it doesn't work. Proportions look all off. A shame it would be cool if it was done right.

You need one of these old Faller's. I don't think it is bigger than 4 x 6" including the churchyard, but it is HO scale!

FYI the typical residential door in 1:1 scale is 6’-8” high; if the doors are about seven HO scale feet high, then the building is HO scale. Of course, if the overall size of the building looks wrong, it doesn’t matter what scale it is, it doesn’t work!

Regarding the station at the top of the thread, if your eye tells you it looks like N scale, it is. Technically speaking, the doors may be ho-sized, but that doesn't change the overall look of it.

There is a gas station out there that is claimed to be HO, I had one and sold it because my eyes said no way. I measured the doors, and it would accommodate a HO vehicle, but it was obviously compressed, and overly so.

So in the end, trust your own eyes. If it looks funky to you, it's wrong.

Yeah, thanks, I'll ask him if he makes it in O scale, maybe
it'll be closer to HO!! It's going back.
