RP and I have had a number of discussions on that question, last I heard he was using Calumet traction tires, available on eBay and not too expensive. For a while I was promoting Goody's Hair Bands, available at Walmarts and such like, but soon became disenchanted, as did RP, with the fact that they tended to twist when going on, causing a rough ride, and that they don't hold up welll, over time. RP put me onto the Calumets, and they are great.

Calumet traction tires are the best, for longevity and traction.

Nice video. And wonderful layout. May I ask you what type of support did you use for the figure 8 ? Thanks.

Calumets. RP and I experimented with Goodies, and the difference is apples and oranges. The Goodies tended to twist going on and give a nasty rattle. That and they got ate up in short order. Calumets go on flat and have good longevity. The Shark Master got me to see the light.

Thank You! I used the trestle supports and bridge from Tyco's very own Over-and-Under Bridge and Trestle Set.
