This seems like a good idea to repost photos from various threads on this fifteen year old forum. If you see a photo from years ago post it here. Remember to give credit to the member who posted it back in the day. List the date it was posted and in what thread it was shown.
I will start with this rare set.
Looks like a train set that was sold at a supermarket back in 1963.

Another rare set at least in the United States. Looks like a Quebec train set for our Canadian neighbors.

"Through ebay I have found one rare caboose in 1776 livery from Tyco.
Some of the caboose boxes I have came across have a plain white box without any numbering. The example I own without stars on the stripes came in a box like that. It is the only one known to exist and I purchased it new off ebay this year. If there are others they have not shown up."
