My acquiring a fixer-upper Clementine loco off of eBay has piqued my interest in the train set from whence it originated. I've searched for photos of the set in its entirety and only found a few, and no luck at all on finding videos. And so I make this post, in the hopes of seeing more.

I've already seen the catalog photo. That one turned up easily. But that's pretty much it. I was hoping some people here had the fortune of owning the set themselves, and photos of their own to share.

Oh my darlin', oh my darlin', oooh my darrrrrlin' Clemintine, yew ar' lost 'n' gone
fooorever, oh my darlin' Clemintine...

Almost as pleasant as 99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall.

For the "gold" I had the great fortune of receiving a packet of "Gold Gum" from
my lovely daughter for Christmas. It is spot on perfect. Serendipity strikes again.

I do & a partial set of one
the partial set had the belt corrode away into dust

I said I has TWO cars for it

Would do a fantasy diesel & caboose for this set

will find & get pix of the partial set I has soon

the loader was also used as a Purina grain elevator & a Moorestown Gravel Co conveyor

Why a fantasy diesel and not a fantasy old-time loco?

Well, you could probably find them at a craft store.

I was thinking an old-time loco because it would go so nicely with the aesthetics of the mine building and the ore car

Hey Micro, you ever think about trading off that Clemintine Mine with
the both cars? I might have something you might like of greater
value...

No, I won't even ask about your Varney Aerotrain. I know, I wouldn't
be able to pry it out of your cold, lifeless hands.
