Nice haul, Micro. I am looking forward to seeing your new layout, when you get there.
Nice collection of Class I boxes, Mustang. One of my favorite RR's. It'd be great to see a video of that string behind some early diesel, like a Black Maria (an early Alco experimental) even, or some grand old NYNHH steam.

Yup. I never noticed, but that is an easy fix, unless of course the come and they are all glued to the shells. That would suck.

1st above the bottom car on the left looks like the door is glued it place, might come off with some coaxing. I have a similar looking Rutland boxcar, dunno what brand it is. Walthers?

They don't look glued to me. That looks like a water mark/stain from poor storage or a cob web to me. They are all either Athearn or Roundhouse. I think most, if not all are Athearn. This is the largest stash of just New haven cars/equipment I have found in quite some time so I am pretty excited to get them. Problem id, I have been buying New Haven and B&M for so long, I have no idea just how many I have anymore. I buy then and since I do not have a working layout or means of display, they all just go into storage... then I buy more. This trend has been repeating itself for the better part of the past 13 years now. Pretty scary when i stop and think about it.

First, that's neat haul and yes, they are all Athearn.
Second, didn't the guy who had them ever see a real boxcar? :D
Third, after reading Mustang's post about collecting too much, I feel better about buying a lot of HO lately when I am basically an N scaler.
