My LOTW for this week is a Bachmann Spectrum GP30 in Canadian Pacific livery that I got with a Crown H0 Canadian Pacific caboose for $11.

Thanks guys. Probably the reason I was able to get it so cheap was because the seller was one of my teachers at school for a while, so he knew me.

Nice score! Worth about $15, considering it still has the cheap Bachman drive... Boy do I wish to have a teacher as a Model train enthusiast!
Anyways, my LOTW is my Athearn genesis Santa fe f7
:D
If I can't fix it, I can fix it so it can't be fixed.

Actually, it has a flywheel drive, so it actually runs surprisingly well.

I was about to say the same thing. The Spectrums have the flywheel drive while the new "bluebox" ones don't. That said, the split frame makes converting to DCC a small chore.
If you are not having fun, you are not doing it right.

My LOTW are some Proto goodies I bought from a friend. He gave me a great deal. We have a FA-B (B is a dummy) and E8/9. Both powered locomotives are Digitrax DCC equipped. Now to just get a layout built....

I believe this to be a Globe unit, not sure. But at the price, I couldn't turn it down. I love the old '50's engines.

it could be one of two companies. Either a Lindsay FA1 which I think it is, or a Hobbytown FA1. Now a photo of the drive from underneath will tell which it is.

Circa 1969 AHM Mini-Trains HOn30 lokey, placed on a modified N scale Arnold\Rapido 0-6-0 mech, and detailed with all manner of lost wax brass baubles...built long ago by a modeler who has since passed away.

The metal FA Diesel appears to be made by John English. It was produced as a kit.

Thanks...my "layout" is actually a small shunting puzzle that goes to shows...the quonset huts were actually assembled, found in a junk box...I carefully cur it with a mitre saw to make one into two...

Now I want to fix my short 2 foot Diorama, reglug the track down and Re ballast it. Cant tell from most of the Pictures but the freight house is missing the back roof, not sure where it went when I moved last time.
Also noticed you display case above and the glass table next to it, with the trophy on it.
